A year-long initiative in Uganda is strengthening the fight against postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), the cause of about 38% of maternal deaths nationwide. Led by the National Midwives Association of Uganda, the project expanded access to heat-stable carbetocin and tranexamic acid across 26 facilities in four refugee-hosting districts.
