Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The RHSC is the world’s largest partnership of reproductive health supply agencies, with a membership of more than 550 public entities, private corporations, and NGOs from 81 countries. More than a third of our members are based in low- and middle-income countries and many more have a significant presence and mission in them.
The RHSC is committed to nurturing, upholding, and celebrating the principles and practice of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our Secretariat, our membership, and the partners we seek to work with. We apply these principles in our strategy, our workplan, and our terms of reference. Equally, we expect our members and partners to uphold these standards.
We recognize that diversity affords the RHSC its competitive advantage in innovation and impact. We actively seek diversity in our Secretariat, and are dedicated to attracting, fostering, and supporting diverse members and partners with an equitable and welcoming environment for all.
In the spirit of equity, the RHSC actively adds value to the work of individual members; fosters greater country ownership; supports country strategies to define countries’ needs; and leverages the support of the global community on behalf of countries.
The RHSC intentionally provides an inclusive environment for all our staff, members, and partners, regardless of race, color, national origin, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, or religion. We offer a neutral space where members are encouraged to set their institutional interests aside and focus on what they share.
The RHSC’s position on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will continue to proactively inform every aspect of our work, contributing to all new and ongoing strategic developments.
