WHO prequalifies generic oral contraceptive pill

On 22 December 2011, the WHO approved Cipla Limited's Ethinylestradiol/Levonorgestrel tablets, 30µg/150µg (oral contraception). Cipla imited is a generic manufacturer, based in Goa, India. Full details are available on WHO's Prequalification website.
