Many generic manufacturers of reproductive health supplies struggle to break into new markets. They initiate and successfully complete WHO prequalification or other quality assurance processes, and invest significant amounts of time and money but come up against countries basing procurement decisions solely on price, or on their unfamiliarity with the range of quality generics available. A recent webinar explores how advocates from the RHSC’s Advocacy and Accountability Group can support Generics Manufacturers’ Caucus (GEMS) members in overcoming these market barriers.
