Spain increases its funds given to the UN Population Fund

Spain will give ten million euros to reproductive health programs of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and will give further 5M to emergency operations, according to the Spanish mission at the United Nations during the annual session of the Administration Council of the UNFPA and the United Nations Development Program, which took place in mid June, 2007.

The 10M amount will be assigned to the acquisition of basic products for reproductive health as well as other actions to promote sexual health and reproductive health in Latin America, according to the same source.
