Click on http://au.youtube.com/user/Access2RHSupplies to see interviews with participants at the Project Resource Mobilisation and Awareness (RMA) meeting in Uganda on July 21-22. The video footage includes 9 interviews with Ugandan Members of Parliament (MPs), representatives from the Ministry of Health and local health officials as well as NGOs.
The meeting, organized by Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU), forms part of Project RMA's country-level advocacy work, which is being led by IPPF. At the event, Ugandan MPs expressed their commitment to reducing reproductive health (RH) supply problems. The Ugandan Minister of Finance subsequently pledged an additional 100 million shillings ($69,500) for RH and supplies. Contact Sarah Shaw of IPPF for more information.
