New Supplies Information Database (SID) on website

27th June 2008

Today (Friday June 27) marks the launch of the new Supplies Information Database (SID) on the Coalition website. Developed and funded by Mimi Whitehouse and Jane Feinberg of the RHInterchange, SID is an online reference library with over 6,000 records on the status of reproductive health (RH) supplies at country-level. The library includes studies, assessments and other publications dating back to 1986, many of which are no longer available even in their country of origin. SID's user-friendly search and feedback features allow you to locate materials, download them and print. Documents can be searched by keyword, country, date, subject area and even type of publication. Continuously updated, SID offers you exclusive access to the latest supply information on more than 230 countries and territories worldwide.

SID can be accessed via its direct link given above as well as via the new banner and In-Focus texts on the Coalition homepage and a new Resources section in the main left-hand navigation of the site that will house all the key resources and tools for the Coalition. Contact Catherine Potter with any feedback or suggestions for SID.
