Market Development Approaches WG and USAID collaborate

On January 25, 10 members of the MDA WG met by teleconference to discuss progress on MDA initiatives. In response to continued uncertainty over the role of an MDA Country Typology Tool, the group asked the Secretariat to administer a brief questionnaire that would assess how such a tool might be used by members, its added value, etc.
Other topics of discussion included potential areas of collaboration with USAID-funded PSPOne Project, the preparation of a TOR/RFP to evaluate MDA tools, and the most appropriate next steps for addressing the issue of demand creation.
