The Coalition is delighted to announce that Mr. Klaus Brill, the Vice President of Global HealthCare Programs at Bayer AG in Berlin, was recently elected and confirmed as the first Manufacturers’ Representative on the RHSC Executive Committee.

The Manufacturers’ Representative undertakes to represent the views and concerns of Coalition manufacturers, engage with them, solicit their input, speak to their interests, and represent the Coalition in public fora on behalf of both generic and innovative manufacturers. In his role, Mr. Brill will also seek to secure manufacturer support in furthering Coalition efforts to increase data visibility across the supplies market.

At Bayer, he has served as the Head Medical Affairs Gynecology / Marketing Gynecology, Head of Business Unit Gynecology in the German operations, and Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management Global Business Unit Women’s Healthcare.  He is a biologist by training and has written a number of papers on contraception.

Mr. Brill’s term of appointment is for two years, non-renewable, and his seat will alternate between the innovator and generic subsectors every two years; a representative from the generic subsector will assume this role in 2019.
