Kenya experiencing acute condom shortage

A recent article in “The Times” of South Africa, highlighted a severe condom shortage facing Kenya. According to the article, a lack of male condoms is forcing some residents even to wash and re-lubricate them.
Authorities say the shortage is due to high demand and procurement delays. An order of 45 million condoms is expected to arrive in early April.
