II LAC Forum Annual Meeting

The second annual meeting of the LAC Forum, co-sponsored by UNFPA/LACRO, its current Chair, will take place from 10-12 June 2013 in Lima, Peru. To be opened by Peru’s Ministers of Health and of Women, the meeting will re-assemble attendees of the Forum’s first annual meeting, as well as new members and stakeholders who have joined the LAC Forum since. These include Directors and Vice Ministers from nine Ministries of Health from across the region. The aim of this meeting is to adopt the LAC Forum’s draft strategic plan; explore areas of activity for the coming five years; identify new working groups, and develop annual work plans.
