FP2020 gives go-ahead to Market Dynamics work plan

In April, FP2020’s Reference Group formally approved the work plan of the Market Dynamics Working Group (MDWG). The WG, which is co-Chaired by Coalition Director, John Skibiak, and Alan Staple of CHAI, assembles experts from the donor, manufacturing, and social marketing communities to tackle issues in global level market shaping. In her remarks to FP2020’s governing body, the WG’s coordinator, Mabinty Koroma, highlighted the group’s achievements and noted that its work plan addresses three core questions: How do you minimize the gaps between supply and demand and improve global forecasting? What is the vision of a well-functioning market for family planning? And how do we align procurement practices and accelerate FP product registration?
