Family planning saves lives

In their latest report, Ending Preventable Child and Maternal Deaths - Acting on the Call, USAID analyses the significant health impact of family planning on people's lives. The family planning section of the full report sets forth the projected total number of deaths averted, in 2012-2020, due to preventing unintended pregnancies and high risk pregnancies, while the full report sets forth the projected numbers of deaths averted due to FP in each of USAID's 24 priority countries.
