AccessRH hits 100-client mark

AccessRH, UNFPA’s procurement and information service for reproductive health supplies has now provided procurement services to more than 100 clients in over 70 countries. AccessRH recently added female condoms, fistula kits and RH kits to an inventory that already included standard male condoms, female condoms, IUDs, Microgynon and Microlut. This approach helps countries prevent stockouts of critical RH supplies by mitigating lengthy production lead times. These key contraceptives are held in stock on UNFPA's behalf by manufacturers.
The following new procurement tools are now available online at MyAccessRH.org:
•   The new interactive Product Catalogue contains contraceptives, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and kits related to reproductive health. The Catalogue is updated continually and products are searchable by category and sub-category. Full product specifications, product images, prices, and other useful details are accessible with sign-in.
•   The Budget Planning Tool provides an estimate of procurement costs, including reproductive health items, insurance, sampling, testing or inspection and other costs.
•   The Lead Time Calculator provides an average, product-specific estimate that includes the time required for order processing, product manufacturing, sampling, testing and inspection, and transportation to port of arrival or airport.
