The role of the private sector in advancing self-care

Join us for a captivating panel discussion on the important role of the private sector in developing, manufacturing, and delivering self-care products. While most of the attention, focus, and policy efforts have been on public health systems, the private sector is often left out of discussions on improving access to self-care approaches. This panel aims to understand the different perspectives of private sector intervention – manufacturer, implementer, provider, and government partnerships – in advancing self-care on a grand scale. The panel will tackle best practices on bringing products to market, the role of pharmacies in improving access to self-care products, lessons learned in shaping markets, and how governments are partnering with the private sector to advance self-care. Join us for questions and answers from panelists across the spectrum of private sector engagement with expertise on a variety of self-care approaches and products. Hosted by the Self-Care Trailblazer Group (SCTG) Global Advocacy & Communication Working Group (GAC) and the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC) Market Development Approaches Working Group (MDAWG).
