Myths and Realities of Teenage Pregnancy Prevention in Central America and the Dominican Republic

SE-COMISCA presented the 2-year intervention they have been leading to reduce adolescent pregnancy in Central America and the Dominican Republic. This was a strategy that included gathering government officials to follow up a single strategy, donating LARCs to country of the region and promoting the use of LARCs in social media among adolescents. The intervention faced many barriers, but SECOMISCA has succeeded in fostering inter-ministerial power to reduce adolescent pregnancies in the region.
