Momcare - a digital smart contract for maternal care

MomCare is a PharmAccess product designed to support mothers on their journey with a digitally enabled smart contract. Using a trusted platform, mother and healthcare provider agree to a path of maternal care at a predetermined cost and quality. Women get the power to access and monitor their care journey using their mobile phone, and money is only distributed to the provider once care is given. Payers can feel confident in supporting these journeys and get more transparency and accountability on how their funds are spent. The patient data is also available on the MomCare app, to help medical staff uncover disparities in the health journey, improve adherence to clinical guidelines, and manage high-risk patients. Results will be presented, also how smart contracts can be used to include SRH commodities and services.
