Contraceptive Security Indicators in 12 LAC Countries - Fact Sheets and Database

03/06/2021

A suite of new fact sheets is now available in Spanish mapping data for family planning methods in 12 Latin American countries, including: national shortages and market barriers, the number of manufacturers for each method, and political barriers to contraceptive access. The fact sheets use data collected by ForoLAC and the USAID project GHSC-PSM for contraceptive safety indicators created by USAID / DELIVER in 2009. Countries covered are: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and Peru. The webinar on 3rd June will walk participants through the resources and touch on their use for advocacy to increase contraceptive access in the region.
