Child Marriage and Early Unions in Dominican Republic

UNICEF and the Office of the Vice President of the Dominican Republic (Programa Progresando con Solidaridad PROSOLI) presented a study which explores knowledge, attitudes and practices on child marriage in order to formulate strategies and interventions that in the long run will enable changes in the social norms that legitimize this harmful practice. The conclusions and recommendations of the study will inform an intersectorial project for the prevention of child marriage and early unions and to measure its effectiveness. This project will be scaled up nation-wide is proven impact.
