This learning package was developed for use by nurses, midwives, and doctors providing childbirth and immediate postpartum care. The course is designed to be used for in-service training, with the overall objective of providing updates on active management of the third stage of labor (AMTSL) to equip nurses, midwives, and other clinical and health workers. It includes presentations on pregnancy complications, birthing plans, uterotonics management, and prevention of PPH and infections.
