The bachelor's degree in supply chain management equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers in the supply chain industry. Supply chain management is a business function that ensures the efficient and effective management of the flow of goods, services and finances among firms around the world to transform raw materials into finished products along with management of reverse flows (e.g., defective or damaged products, product returns, end-of-life disposal) in a sustainable manner. Graduates from this program enter the workforce in supply chain positions across multiple types of companies including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and retailing. Students gain field-based experience through a required internship and a project in the capstone course.

Graduates find supply chain management careers in a wide variety of organizations – manufacturers, distributors, retailers, transportation companies, third party logistics firms, government agencies, and service firms. Supply chain management offers entry-level positions such as supply chain analyst, logistics analyst, operations supervisor, customer service supervisor, fulfillment supervisor, and purchasing support. Companies that recruit USF students for internships and jobs in SCM include Amazon, Bristol-Myers Squibb, CH Robinson, Jabil, Target, Honeywell Aerospace, TechData, Walmart, and more.
