Supply Chain Management Concentration

The College of Business supply chain management concentration helps undergraduate students develop knowledge of global supply chain management (SCM) along with the skills to implement strategic, efficient, and effective SCM practices in contemporary business enterprises. This concentration allows you to merge your academic focus with your career goals while working to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
You will focus on process improvement, strategic sourcing and procurement management, logistics and distribution, and operations management. This concentration has a strong corporate sponsorship that provides excellent course projects, internships, and job placement opportunities.
Students will demonstrate:
- knowledge and skills adequate to assume entry-level supply chain management positions in the broad spectrum of organizations and be prepared to pursue careers in a wide variety of organizations and industries
- knowledge of how global supply chains operate and skills to make decisions to support strategic and tactical activities to manage efficient and effective supply chains
- an understanding of ethical decision making skills with respect to dealing with supplier and customer organizations
- an understanding of the skills required to manage risk, innovation, and the dynamics of supply chains in the current global economy
