She Makes Her Safe Choice: A global programme to combat unsafe abortions

Rutgers will present their unique partnership with DKT International to combat unsafe abortions through the global She Makes Her Safe Choice programme, funded through the Dream Fund of the Dutch Postcode Lottery. The intervention approach of the programme as well as initial country-level results from Kenya and Ethiopia will be presented. Also, the new DKT WomanCare Global website will be presented and their work to expanding access, availability and use of safe abortion technologies globally, particularly the Ipas Manual Vacuum Aspirator (MVA).
