Take Stock takes big stride
16th April 2015
Take Stock took another giant step forward this month when the Interagency Supply Group (ISG) decided to include the RHSC universal stockout indicator in its suite of 15 key performance indicators. The ISG is a group of 12 multilateral and bilateral supply chain agencies and donors that support investments in the health sector that is focused on identifying a critical path of aligning supply-chain strengthening efforts as a means of better leveraging investments and achieving meaningful impact on country systems in the face of future demands. The indicator was adopted with a slight adaptation to accommodate non-reproductive health commodities. Launched at the General Meeting in Mexico City, Take Stock aims to mobilize our community to resolve stockouts of reproductive health products. Take Stock continues to focus on its goal of having the world’s largest bilateral, multilateral and non-government service providers report stockout data to FP2020.
