New Appointment: Ntindah Luembe

8th August 2023

The Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Ntindah Luembe to the new senior leadership position of Director, Implementing Mechanisms and Initiatives (IMI).

The RHSC stands to benefit greatly from Ms. Luembe’s substantial expertise in fostering enterprise capacity, market access, managing business finance, sales, and distribution, and cultivating public-private partnerships across challenging and complex environments. Her most recent professional roles involved consulting in market access for public and private sector stakeholders involved in the product introduction and scale up of contraceptives across the African continent. Previous positions include that of Commercial Regional Business Development Manager for Anglophone Africa at MSI Reproductive Choices, and Policy Program Officer at the World Food Program in Zambia.

Based in Lusaka, Zambia, Ms. Luembe will provide technical leadership within RHSC’s current strategy and program of action (Money, Markets and Movement) and work to ensure RHSC Implementing Mechanisms are highly effective. She will manage a team providing technical and administrative support to RHSC’s working groups and caucuses and will provide leadership for RHSC’s General Membership Meetings. Ms. Luembe will also work directly with RHSC’s Market Development Approaches Working Group and with Secretariat staff and partners working on market issues.

“I join the RHSC with the greatest excitement and anticipation,” Ms. Luembe said. “I look forward to forging new partnerships, calling on existing ones, and supporting my team in the life-changing work they do.”
