Cote d’Ivoire: Celebrating the VAN’s newest Premium Member

It took nearly a year to plan, but determined Cote d’Ivoire never faltered on their commitment to become a VAN premium country member. Recognizing the benefits of premium membership, officials demonstrated ownership and a commitment to using the VAN by mobilizing partner funds to pay for the training (supported by VillageReach) and the  membership subscription (supported by WAHO with funding from KfW). Government officials and implementing partners from the Ministry of Health, L'Association Ivoirienne pour le Bien-Etre Familial (AIBEF), Agence Ivoirienne de Marketing Social (AIMAS), and VillageReach gathered in Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire for the training in August. As the VAN’s 12th Premium country out of 38 total country members, new users saw how the platform increases coordination and resilience in the region, helping countries ensure reproductive health supplies are where they’re needed.
