Argentina provinces prepare for action on RH supply security

With national procurement and distribution of SRH supplies significantly reduced in Argentina, provincial teams are stepping up to ensure access of key supplies for their people. Twenty-four health officials and authorities from eight Argentine provinces gathered in Buenos Aires to consolidate supply security teams, explore procuring in larger quantities, gather and share key data for decision-making and explore business intelligence tools such as SEPREMI to improve supply chain efficiency. Co-hosted by CEDES, UNFPA Argentina, UNFPA LACRO, and ForoLAC, the meeting also introduced a dashboard and price report co-created by the provinces and identified opportunities for joint procurement and demand aggregation.
