Increasingly more companies are operating on the global market, which in turn increases the managerial demands in relation to development, production, supply chains, collaborations across continents and cultures etc. As an example, it is important, that the company is aware of the available resources in different locations, so they can determine the best place for their production.
In your semester projects, you and your project group will work with relevant issues within the programme’s field of study, that challenge you to use all of your collected knowledge to come up with possible solutions.
Interaction with the business community makes up a significant part of the study programme, which is why you are encouraged to carry out one or more semester projects in collaboration with external companies and organisations. This gives you an exceptional opportunity to combine theory and practice. Furthermore, many of the courses include practical assignments and business game.
This is a full-time study programme, which is characterised by problem based project work in groups. You will be working closely with other students most of the time, and you are required to be present at the university on a daily basis and spend a vast majority of your day there.
The Master’s programme entitles you to the designation Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering (Management Engineering with Operations and Supply Chain Management).
As a graduate, you are prepared for a career where you work with the developmental, operational, economic, and social relationships in a production or a service company.
The specialisation in Operations and Supply Chain Management teaches you about topics such as production and quality management, supply chain management and information technology.
You will for example explore:

- Business intelligence and analytics
