VAN Steering Committee welcomes first country representative

The VAN Steering Committee has welcomed Dr. Claudette Diogo, Programme Head, Family Planning Division at the Ghana Health Service and Ghana’s VAN Ambassador, as the first Country Representative member during its annual meeting in December. The VAN Steering Committee is the cross-organizational governing body responsible for setting the strategic direction and scope of the VAN. This new membership role ensures country perspectives are elevated and represented in the governance and strategic decision-making of the VAN. Dr. Diogo will serve as the first of two Country Representatives on the VAN Steering Committee; the second will be welcomed in mid-2025.
