Systems Strengthening Working Group Workstreams provide bi-annual updates

In advance of their June in-person meeting, the leaders of the Systems Strengthening Working Group workstreams provided updates on their progress since the last meeting in October 2015.  Highlights from the document include:

• The Performance Monitoring and Evidence Working Group of FP2020 adopted two stockout indicators recommended by the RHSC, including the designated “universal indicator.”
• CSP has focused on finalizing the first round of forecasts for implants and DMPA
• Twelve new courses were added to the LAPTOP database (Warehouse Operations Management Course, Appréhender les bases de la logistique approvisionnement, Ethics in Procurement, Master of Science in Global Logistics, An Introduction to Procurement, Éthique en matière de passation de marchés, Introduction à la passation de marchés, Executive Public Health Supply Chain Management Programme SA, HLCMPN/UNDG Procurement Harmonization - Introductory Module, Reproductive Health Supply Management and Sustainability )
• A new AccessRH web portal was launched in December 2014. The redesign features a new look and structure, with sections dedicated to humanitarian supplies and capacity building.
