New scorecard and infographic present 7 years of VAN achievements

From a pilot program with only two member countries in 2018, to the first fully scaled control tower in international public health with 38 member countries in 2024, the newly released VAN scorecard and infographic track the VAN’s achievements in bringing together people, process, policy, and technology for more coordinated supply planning of family planning supplies. Between 2020 and 2024, the VAN helped procurers mobilize and allocate more than $155 million in new orders for member countries, avoided waste by supporting at least $5.4 million of cancelled and transferred orders, and helped expedite 114 orders to mitigate supply shortages.
