Quantification & forecasting training for Caribbean officials

16th November 2024

A three-day training on quantification and forecasting in St. Lucia brought 25 participants—including health ministry representatives from eight OECS countries—together to improve forecasting methods and leverage tools for accurate quantification. Co-organized by RHSC’s ForoLAC, UNFPA Caribbean Sub-Regional Office, and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), and conducted by Pamela Steele, of Pamela Steele Associates, the workshop trained health officials to assess their ministry standards against international standards for quantification, forecasting, and supply chain management. Participants then learned to apply lessons to unique regional and national supply issues.
