MDAWG Chair co-chairing new subcommittee to increase private sector visibility at ICFP
17th February 2020
A formal subcommittee was formally approved in December 2019 as a response to the lack of visibility of the private sector at the International Conference of Family Planning (ICFP). The newly established group will be chaired by Andrea Bare of William Davidson Institute and Chair of the Coalition’s Market Development Approaches Working Group (MDAWG), Maggie Farrell of USAID, and Fred Gyaviira of PSI Uganda.
The subcommittee will plan and implement specific strategies and activities to strengthen the presence of the private sector in the 2021 ICFP. Their strategies may encompass planning abstracts, panel discussions, and side meetings.
