Health workers in Uganda receive training in PPH medicine use
3rd March 2025
Rwenzori Center for Research and Advocacy in Uganda is a recipient of an NLUM-PPH COF grant, managed by the RHSC and CHAI and funded by MSD for Mothers* and UK's Reproductive Health Supplies Programme. The center recently started master training of health workers in the use of heat-stable carbetocin and tranexamic acid, essential in the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage, a life-threatening condition for women who have just given birth. Hear from the trainees themselves in this short video.
*MSD for Mothers is an initiative of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA
