A Spotlight on Equipment and Consumable Supplies for Family Planning Key Findings

The family planning community has celebrated significant strides in securing a stronger supply chain for family planning and addressing critical barriers to service delivery, resulting in improved access to family planning for individuals around the world. However, the unavailability equipment and consumable supplies for family planning service delivery (e.g. forceps, gloves) threaten to undermine access to quality family planning services. Through an RHSC Innovation Fund Award, Jhpiego investigated the extent to which equipment and consumable unavailability impacted family planning services, including an exploration of key supply chain challenges and opportunities for action. These findings are fully captured in a white paper now available at RHSC’s website, linked here. Join us on March 5th at 9am EST to explore key findings and discuss recommendations for overcoming supply chain challenges.
