Launched in February 2011, the AccessRH procurement service reduces delivery times for key reproductive health commodities while providing stakeholders with more transparent information for supply chain coordination. In its first year, AccessRH processed 122 new orders and reduced lead times for condom orders by over 10 weeks. The myAccessRH.org web portal was also introduced, which incorporates the RHInterchange and makes UNFPA's procurement catalogue, prices, and vendor information available online for the first time.
Developed under the auspices of the Coalition and managed by UNFPA, AccessRH was recently nominated one of the top 25 inspiring innovations that that have helped to improve the condition of girls and women around the world by Women Deliver.
