Welcome to the

19th General Membership Meeting
Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition

The End of a decade

The end of a decade brings with it a reminder to take stock and to look to the road ahead. Since ambitious objectives were set in 2012, the RH community has focused on commitments and activities leading up to 2020. We are nearly there, and it’s time to plan for the next 10 years.

Change is the new certainty. With dramatic developments in donor engagement, increased private sector involvement, a shifting method mix, and innovations in every area from procurement to last mile delivery, the post-2020 RH ecosystem will not be business as usual. The environment is evolving, and we must adapt.

Nepal is a fitting setting from which to look to our future. Our host country has seen a steady year-on-year increase in its contraceptive prevalence rate, has committed to FP2020, and has put in place national legislation around improving women’s health. It is also grappling with some of the same challenges seen in other countries including how to improve equitable access to high-quality RH supplies in a newly federalized structure.

Join us in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 25-28 March 2019 for the RHSC’s 19th General Membership Meeting where our family of RH experts from global to community levels and all sectors will come together at the foot of the world’s highest peak to shape our horizons and navigate the road ahead together.

Innovations Expo

Based on its successful debut at the Brussels meeting in 2018, the Innovations Exposition will run again in Kathmandu. It is a forum that will showcase the cutting-edge work of our members to improve access to RH supplies. Those interested in participating are advised to apply early, as space is limited. Interested in showcasing your work?

Youth Mentoring

At our Brussels General Membership Meeting in March 2018, we introduced the Supply Fellows Initiative—a new idea to encourage our members to actively share skills, expertise and experience, and to build up our younger participants and help them navigate the event more effectively. The experiment was a great success and we’re delighted to reprise it in Kathmandu.
