First ever plenary session on gender equity in supply chain at an RHSC General Membership Meeting

The General Membership Meeting in Accra October 2023 saw its first-ever plenary session on gender equity in the history of the meeting. Moderated by the RHSC’s Hannah Pandian, the panel examined the importance of gender equity and social inclusion in supply chain.

Going offsite at the RHSC GMM

The Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition’s (RHSC’s) General Membership Meeting (GMM) took place 16-20 October 2023 in Accra, Ghana. In addition to onsite meetings and events, participants also had the opportunity to visit key reproductive health supply manufacturers, a clinic, and medical store warehouses. Maternal Health Supplies at the RHSC GMM

The Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition’s (RHSC’s) General Membership Meeting (GMM) took place 16-20 October 2023 in Accra, Ghana. Members of the Maternal Health Supplies Caucus valued the opportunity to meet stakeholders from very disparate organizations. Presentations and discussions were around the causes of maternal morbidity and mortality, with a deep dive into postpartum hemorrhage, the Caucus’ role within the WHO PPH Roadmap, and maternal nutrition, blood and blood products, pre-eclampsia and eclampsia drugs. Moving the Strategy Re-design process forward at the GMM

RHSC’s General Membership Meeting (GMM)which took place 16-20 October 2023 in Accra, Ghana  served as an accelerating point for RHSC’s Strategy re-design which is underway. A series of interactive and participatory sessions organized throughout the week engaged members and captured their feedback on the Strategy re-design process.

Spotlighting Safe Abortion Supplies (SAS) at the GMM

The Safe Abortion Supplies (SAS) Workstream hosted its first-ever dedicated workstream meeting in person during RHSC’s General Membership Meeting in Accra. During the meeting, SAS Workstream Members explored themes related to resilience during COVID-19 and opportunities to leverage telemedicine and self-care in expanding access to safe abortion supplies, with presentations from Ghana, Zambia, Colombia, and Nigeria.
