The international development community and pharmaceutical industry are both increasing their efforts to improve access to essential health products by investing in markets in developing countries. As part of these efforts, practitioners from many global health organizations regularly contribute to knowledge development in the field of market dynamics, studying the interrelation of market actors, structures, and financing on market and health outcomes. What is missing, however, is the dissemination and sharing of this knowledge in one, easy-to-navigate place.

This MDAWG-specific webinar and demonstration showcases a new open-access resource, MARKET BOOKSHELF, designed to provide market players across the global health community a ‘one stop shop’ to search for the analyses, reports, guidance and tools necessary to understand and participate in different health markets.

At the end of this presentation, the audience will be familiar with MARKET BOOKSHELF, and how to utilize this knowledge platform to meet their needs for information acquisition and sharing. We also hope to engage MDAWG members in an open discussion about how to grow and improve the repository over time.
