The Female Condom Landscape: A Total Market Approach

20/09/2018

Female Condom procurement is at an all-time low globally, even though the demand, and research is stronger than ever. What can we do to ensure that female condoms are provided in countries, and to program in a sustainable manner? This webinar will present the current landscape of female condoms, the state of the global market, and the latest research on availability, cost effectiveness, and impact.

In addition, we will hear the results from the Expanding Effective Contraception Options (EECO) team’s 2018 total market assessment for the female condom product category in two countries—Malawi and Zambia—with a high need for dual protection options. This assessment looked across sectors and types of female condoms.

Finally, we will learn more about the successful programming of female condoms in South Africa, where partners are working to distribute 120 million female condoms over a three year period from 2018–2021.
