The German Foundation for World Population (DSW) works within Project RMA at the sub-regional level to engage regional bodies in reproductive health supplies advocacy. To this end, we are organising a set of sub regional meetings to promote awareness of reproductive health (RH) commodity security, engage regional bodies, and facilitate knowledge-sharing. The strategic approach is to work at regional level by linking with existing meetings, and alliances of strategic importance to strengthen their engagement in conducting advocacy for RH supplies. In 2007 and 2008, Project RMA has made significant progress in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Asia and Pacific regions by strengthening existing synergies with the national and global level activities.

Meetings and Trainings in 2007 and 2008
Project RMA has linked its activities with important meetings, such as the EARHN strategic meeting in December 2007, the Partners in Population and Development (PPD) meeting with Ministers as well as the PPD meeting with African Parliamentarians, both in September 2008, and the annual APA meeting (October 2008).

Meetings and Trainings on ICPD + 15
Plans for 2009 have a specific focus on the regional ICPD + 15 events in the Asia and Pacific Regions, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa.
