January 2012
Approximately 10 members of the RMA WG met via teleconference on 10 January. Members discussed the Working Group's contribution to the HAND to HAND campaign and designated focal people to sit on each of the campaign's three priority areas (counting, commitments, and communication). The different taskforces updated the group on recent progress. In this context we are grateful to Beth Fredrick who agreed to facilitate a preparatory meeting for the UN Commission on Commodities for Maternal and Child Health, to be held 20 January. This will provide the group with ample input on how the Commission’s work relates to RMA activities. PAI provided the group with an update on their small grants efforts and briefed the group on some of the proposals that were submitted.
