Using Round 2 support from the Innovation Fund, Équilibres & Populations is undertaking an effort to raise awareness of supply security in francophone Africa and to strengthen the French-language networks, communications media, and other tools needed to meet countries' supply needs.

Objectives:

• To achieve greater harmonization of tools and approaches to securing RH supplies at the global level.
• To facilitate greater stakeholder collaboration at the country level in key areas of RH supply security and to develop North-South linkages and capacities in advocacy for RH supplies in the French-speaking community.
• To raise the profile of RH supplies and RH commodity security at the global and country levels and to serve as a global advocate for RH commodity security.

Activities conducted under this project include finalizing the French version of the Advocacy Toolkit, translating the Coalition website into French, hosting an RH supplies advocacy workshop in West Africa, and introducing more French-speaking African NGOs to the work of the Coalition.  The primary output of this twenty-month project will be improved participation in RH supplies advocacy and Coalition activities by representatives of francophone Africa.
