To date, the MDA WG has developed a number of resources, tools and guidelines which are designed to facilitate Market Development Approaches. The resources developed include:
- The Market Segmentation Primer
- Indicators to measure market development (Draft)
- The Market Development Approaches Scoping Report
Planned Activities:
Development of a Market Segmentation Guide: This will be designed to complement the Market Segmentation Primer.
Promotion and dissemination of existing resources: The MDA WG will promote the use of existing and future MDA Resources, Tools, and Guidelines as widely as possible. The initial focus will be to raise awareness of the resources among RH Supplies Coalition member colleagues. This work will involve:
- Liaising with Coalition Secretariat staff to ensure the resources are available on the RHSC website
- Liaising with the RMA WG to ask them to promote and disseminate the resources – particularly among in-country partners
- Identifying individuals within organizations represented in the MDAWG to help promote and disseminate the resources.
