The Caucus on New and Underused Reproductive Health Technologies held its second quarterly teleconference of 2012 on April 10th. Participants discussed progress on the Maternal Health Supplies Task Force (MHSTF), the 2012 update of the Product Briefs, and the activities the group plans to undertake in 2012. Finalization of the Product Briefs has taken longer than expected, but the Briefs are expected to be online the first week of May. Translation of the Briefs into French and Spanish is one activity the group hopes to undertake this year, in order to better disseminate them at country level and through the Coalition's regional forums. The Caucus will also be seeking opportunities to leverage the recommendations of the UN Commission on Life-saving Commodities for Women and Children. The Caucus is still in need of a liaison to the RMA WG, please contact Bonnie if you are interested. The next teleconference will be 10 July 2012.
