In the past two years, Project RMA has successfully worked in the East-African region. On top of strengthening success in this region, DSW plans to be active in two more regions in 2009; Asia and Pacific Regions, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa. In addition to the pre-ICPD review conference meetings, DSW will be participating in other civil society meetings and conduct Advocacy Toolkit trainings.
The 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP)
The ICAAP 2009 will take place in Bali, Indonesia on August 9th - 13th 2009. Prior to the conference "Empowering People, Strengthening Networks"(link: http://new.icaap9.org), Project RMA will be conducting a two-day RH supplies advocacy training to support NGO leadership and strengthen their advocacy capacity. DSW, in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Alliance will be facilitating the training.
Review Conference of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Carribean
The Regional ICPD + 15 Review Meeting for Latin America and the Caribbean, conducted by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), will take place in Autumn 2009. Project RMA is planning on holding a strategy session for NGOs attending the conference.

The Regional ICPD + 15 Review Meeting for Africa, conducted by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), will take place in October/November 2009 in Ethiopia. Project RMA is planning on holding a strategy session for NGOs attending the conference.
