How comprehensive is the information on the RHInterchange?
The RHInterchange contains information about procurement from three significant suppliers of contraceptives: UNFPA, USAID, and IPPF. In some cases, detailed shipment information such as flight number or ocean vessel is also available. The three suppliers together account for nearly 60% of the world’s donated contraceptive supplies. The RHInterchange contains historical information for all three donors (since 2004) as well as future and planned shipments. It includes information from 144 countries regarding male condoms, female condoms, foam/jelly spermicides, IUDs, implants, injectables, orals (combined, emergency, progestin only), vaginal foaming tablets/suppository spermicides, and the standard days method.
