A summary of the recent online discussion forum, "Access to RH Essential Medicines: Why is it so difficult to achieve?" is now available from WHO. This summary document highlights challenges identified by participants during course of this two-week discussion in terms of human resources, financing, communication, policies, quality assurance, forecasting, and supply management. The summary also includes recommendations for addressing these challenges, as well as an annotated bibliography of resources.
