As countries try to increase demand and reduce unmet need, securing financial commitment for contraceptives is a necessary component. For governments who wish to increase their share of funding, the RHI provides data on the value of commodities by funding source. The data can be converted by the user into a graph to show the contribution of the MOH of its share in funding contraceptives as part of advocacy efforts to mobilize government financing for contraceptives.
The graph below shows data take from a country within the Caucus region. UNFPA is the largest funding source of contraceptives providing 66 percent followed by the MOH (26 percent), MSI (7 percent), and IPPF (1 percent).
