Course objective

The goal of this course is to increase participants’ knowledge and skills in using a data driven process to:

-Improve accuracy of forecasts.

-Estimate funding requirements and identify funding sources to meet mid to long term needs.

-Develop a procurement plan.

-Understand the utility of software packages in quantification and procurement processes.

-Evaluate and respond to environmental or policy constraints to forecasting and procurement planning.

provide participants with the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in the following topics:

-Utilization of data from a LMIS for quantification

-Forecasting methodologies

This course includes a practical application of quantification and procurement planning software tools.

The exact content of the course will be adapted to address the needs of participants specific to the health programs with which they work.
